Dr. Joseph Temming

Dr. Joseph Temming has been a member of the Cincinnati Rheumatic Disease Study Group (CRDSG) for nearly 20 years. Dr. Temming is a native of Cincinnati and attended Xavier University. He graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital where he had the good fortune of working for a month with Dr. Arthur Kunath, the founder of Tristate Arthritis and Rheumatology. Dr. Kunath recognized immediately his potential and encouraged him to pursue a career in rheumatology. And, Dr. Temming, for his part, recognized immediately the tremendous potential of the field and the wisdom of his mentor. After his residency, he completed a Fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. Upon his return to Cincinnati, he was immediately recruited by Dr. Kunath to become the third member Tristate Arthritis. With the growth of the practice, Dr. Temming was designated to lead the effort to design and build its current state-of-the-art facility. He continues to advance new ideas for improving the practice and the care of its patients.

Dr. Temming has also made many important contributions to the CRDSG and continues to foster the mission of the organization in every way that he can.
